2nd Nature Academy fosters a rigorous and responsive learning environment where students thrive, not simply survive, in their formative academic years. Students are encouraged to explore, inquire, collaborate, create, analyze, and solve relevant problems. The unique and original educational model combines elements of skills-based curricula, Project Based Learning, transdisciplinary studies, and whole child philosophy. A low student to teacher ratio is maintained to allow teachers the flexibility to implement strategies for differentiated, individualized instruction and build positive relationships with students. Teachers set expectations for high standards and academic achievement while also supporting social emotional health and wellness for all students.

Nature’s Pathways at 2nd Nature Academy's experienced educators provide a warm, safe, and nurturing environment for children ages 8 weeks through preschool, prekindergarten, and interim-kindergarten. Inquiry, curiosity, and exploration are valued and encouraged using a multi-sensory, integrated approach to learning. Individual strengths are the focus of Nature's Pathways educators, who value the uniqueness of each learner. Teachers also foster cooperation, positive conflict resolution, self-help skills, collaboration, compassion, and critical thinking.
The Enrichment Center @ 2nd Nature Academy is an educational facility that provides interdisciplinary learning experiences to the local community. The cornerstone of every class is to create a respectful, collaborative environment that encourages critical thinking and sharing of ideas, guided by passionate and skilled instructors. Set in high-tech, platinum LEED buildings with idyllic rustic surroundings, these enrichment courses cover various disciplines—visual and performing arts, foreign languages, sciences, technology, math and engineering, history and literature, and home and garden.

THE ENRICHMENT CENTER @ 2ND NATURE ACADEMY
Camp Lovewell is the camp for kids who don't mind getting their hands dirty or their feet wet. Enjoy the great outdoors as campers embark on a summer journey of inquiry, observation, and exploration. Campers will discover all of the wonders of our fields, forests, ponds, wetlands, and working farm as they are provided the opportunity to participate in various activities and programs that will stretch their imagination and test their capabilities. Activities include arts and crafts, hiking and exploration, orienteering, gardening, nature studies, sports and field games, team building games and low ropes course, archery, swimming in a saltwater pool and freshwater pond, kayaking, drama and skits, camp songs and spirit activities, and visits to the animal friends in the campus barn!

ACE's mission is to retrain each athlete to invest in their mental, emotional, and physical well-being in a positive, motivational, and fun environment of sportsmanship, team building, and the 3 C's of competitive spirit: confidence, compassion, and community. With programs for kids and teens of all ages, skill levels, and abilities, these clinics and camps are as much for aspiring athletes as they are for those who simply want to get active, have fun, and forge bonds with teammates! Confidence is built through individual and group successes and all are motivated to do their best, whatever your best may be.
